Both of the physicians are Board-Certified in adult and pediatric allergy and clinical immunology. Their nine years of medical study included allergy training at the University of Colorado/National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, the nation's leading center for allergy and asthma research and training.
The doctors have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Allergic Rhinitis, Asthma, Food Allergy, Bee Sting Allergy, Anaphylaxis, and other allergic diseases.
Dr. Barron is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the America Board of Allergy/Asthma and Clinical Immunology. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Allergy Association of Northern California, California Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, and the Sonoma County Medical Society. He is a former president for the California Society of Allergyand Clinical Immunology and the Sonoma County Foundation for Medical Care. Dr. Barron is also an assistant clinical professor at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Barron is married and has two grown daughters.
Dr. Martin served in the USAF where he holds the rank of Colonel. His positions included Chief Professional Services and pediatrics at the USAF clinic in Aviano, Italy. Allergy Consultant to the USAF surgeon general, and Chief of the allergy and Immunology department and Allergy Fellowship Program director at Wilford Hall USAF medical center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He has authored several published papers on asthma, allergic rhinitis, and food allergy. Dr. Martin is an assistant clinical professor at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco and is on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association of California, Redwood Empire branch where he served as a president for two years. Dr. Martin is married and has one grown daughter.
